Glock Factory Case insert.

You can design a 3D-printable replacement insert for the Glock factory case in your browser and export it as an STL. The insert follows the case’s shaped outline at 266 × 222 mm, and it is only 26 mm deep. It needs two pieces on a 256 mm build plate.

What fits

These layouts use the designer’s own case outline and gear models, drawn to scale. The dashed line is the wall clearance: the designer keeps every item inside it.

A shallow, shaped insert

This profile follows the factory case outline rather than a plain rectangle. The 26 mm depth is the real constraint: it is half the depth of the other two cases, so thick accessories and stacked items have less room.

Choosing a Glock profile doesn’t guarantee every configuration fits this case. Check the exported geometry, especially with a weapon light attached.

Printing it

At 266 mm wide, the insert is 10 mm too wide for a 256 mm Bambu Lab plate, and no rotation fixes that. It fits in one piece on a larger printer such as the Creality K2 Plus. On anything smaller, split it once and keep the seam clear of the pistol pocket.

The factory layout

The factory case is laid out for what ships in the box. Add a light, an optic or more magazines and the stock layout stops helping. A printed insert lets you lay the case out around what you actually carry, and print it again when that changes.

A printed insert is one of several ways out. Compare the alternatives to pick-and-pluck foam, including made-to-order foam and modular grids.

Check your model before you print

This profile matches the current Glock factory case outline used by the designer. Older Glock cases and third-party pistol cases differ; check your case against the dimensions above before you print.

The dimensions describe the digital insert, not a measured fit tolerance. We haven’t published fit tests yet, so print a small section first. How the designer computes fit.
